But the brand is even older. In 1875 Dr. Bernard started producing corsets, when the lingerie was pure “functional” as women were looking for the perfect hourglass figure. He gave rise to what became Aubade brand some years later. Aubade has always been a seductive brand. Its first advertising campaign (1968) was constructed around the same idea of seductiveness.
